About me

My name is Anna Ziegler, I am a practitioner of the visual and healing arts with a background in mathematics. I was born in Germany and lived in the Netherlands and Portugal. My path weaves together analytical clarity, intuitive creativity, rootedness in nature as well as a deep curiosity about the psyche and the power of imagination.

After completing my Bachelor’s in Mathematics at the University of Heidelberg, I immersed myself in art courses and self-directed study that opened the door into my artistic practice. Alongside the artistic path, I trained in a range of healing modalities including inquiry, magnified healing and frequency healing. I also engaged in self-directed study of spirituality, metaphysics and alchemy, which inform the way I understand creativity, transformation and growth. I weave these understandings and techniques into my creative practice to allow for a transformational process that is deep and powerful, yet gentle and easeful.

My philosophy is rooted in the belief that art is one of the most direct and accessible forms of healing and expansion we possess. Through my own practice, I explore my inner landscape, using image-making as a way of remembering myself and engaging with the deeper layers of the psyche. My approach is playful, intuitive and cyclical, mirroring the natural rhythm of life and creation.

A current focus of my work is “Remember the Future“, a project that explores pathways of healing to create a more sustainable future, as we first need to change ourselves before we can create any lasting outer change. I want to empower others to access their creative self-healing capabilities, while keeping my personal artistic exploration at the heart of my practice.
