remember the future

A living artwork of home, play, art, and community — rooted in nature, guided by beauty.

Remember the Future is an exploration of how we can live in harmony with nature, with each other, and with ourselves. It’s about weaving together healing, play, art, storytelling, and community into daily life, so that the future we dream of becomes something we embody now.

This is my overarching vision and the project has many petals, but one heart: to remember that a more beautiful world is possible — and to live inside it.

The next goal: A cardset to remember the future with

Each card links to a guided meditation that transmits healing energies to the meditator. I am creating a tool that will aid in personal transformation and healing, empowering the one who plays.

goodfairy gifts

it all begins with remembering yourself

On the path of contemplating the lifestyle of the future, I found the first step on the journey as well as an ever ongoing process is to remember myself. I have had the honor to meet many different healers along my path, who have helped me to heal myself and taught me how to give this gift on to others as well.

In our busy lives we have forgotten much of ourselves, burdened with the expectations of others and society. If we want to change the world we live in, we have to first change ourselves. To create peace, fulfillment and joy around us, we must first feel it inside. The healing modalities I have experienced and learned assist every person to connect to their true inner self and express themselves authentically in the world, creating the life they are truly excited about living.

I express the gifts I have received in the following ways in order to help you remember yourself:

artifacts of becoming

On the journey of finding oneself, it can be very helpful to create a physical reminder of the intentions we set for our lives. I offer to do an energy reading with you, and get clarity on what that would be for you, and to create an artifact that grounds your intention for you. That can be a piece of crystal jewelry; a custom handmade lamp or a symbol that we can print or embroider on a shirt or any object that fits your intention.

healing sessions

In a session I will use the energy healing techniques I have learned to help you remove any blockages, to help you heal and empower yourself.

tarot readings

If you are in search of clarity and understandings, we can do a tarot reading to get guidance, find out what is happening energetically and how you can resolve your struggles in the most effortless way.

“remember the future” podcast

In the podcast, I want to explore what the future can hold, and invite guests with interesting visions that I see aligned with a great future for our planet. I am especially interested in indigenous cultures, healing modalities, art and spirituality.

the diary of the future

A logbook where I share the progress, learnings and experiences made on the way of exploring this new kind of lifestyle.

I hope my experiments encourage exploration for everyone reading and watching.

community

I see the society as a game that we all agree to play. We agree that we have certain rules that we have to obey, or get punished. The current game seems to go towards a dead-end.

I am interested in playing a new game into existence. A game that brings people together, and heals the wounds that our current lifestyle has created.

goodfairy gifts - exploring abundance

The economy of the future is an ecology, as far as I can tell from here and now. I think that gifts are the future, and I want to explore the different ways a gift economy could look like, and find games for the transition into a new way of giving and receiving.
I aspire to create a way to sustain myself that is based upon gifts, and want to experiment with that idea, see how it turns out, what works and what doesn’t.

current exploration:

after setting up a shop to sell art prints, I realized that it is not the most gracious way to go about getting my art into the world, as I do not have an audience big enough yet to make the shop thrive. Marketing is not my strong suit and so I am now looking for help with the sales.

A vision that captivates me is the idea of a community shop. What if we had an online shop for all the amazing creators in our social sphere (friends and friends of friends inviting eachother) and would thus share our communities with eachother? Allowing them to find new, interesting creators that they have not heard from before, with the satisfying knowing they support rising artists through this shop?

(perhaps I will collect them for now in my temple of a thousand doors until this shop comes into being ;))

art & storytelling

I believe in the power of imagination shaping the future. Art and Stories are powerful tools, and I love to create to bring light and beauty into the lives of others as well.

play with time in the Eternal Garden

I am exploring the concept of time, and how to interact with the natural cycles of life to align with creation and manifest the life of our dreams. I want to create a manifestation game to make it fun!

the power of home

In a fast-paced world, we have forgotten the power of home. A place of beauty where we can connect, rest and recharge.

There is so much more to what makes a home, than simply owning a physical space. If you are interested in the topic, I invite you to explore the concept of “a space of love” from the Ringing Cedar Series. Based on this inspiration, I hold a vision of my home.

At the center is The Growing Castle: a tiny house surrounded by living architecture — walls of plants, glasshouses, outdoor art spaces, and sanctuaries for rest and play. A home that grows from the inside out: first as a personal refuge, then as a community space where people can gather, connect, and reimagine how home can hold love, safety, and beauty.
